Conditions for Joining as an Alumnus:
- All graduates from degree programs conducted at Seinäjoki University Center
- Alumni events are also open to current university center students, who can participate and benefit from networking and learning opportunities.
- Members of the staff at Seinäjoki University Center
- Those who have defended a doctoral thesis or completed postgraduate studies at Seinäjoki University Center
- Those who feel a sense of belonging to our university center community
Goals of the Alumni Network:
- Create an active and interactive connection for alumni with the activities of the university center
- Improve the exchange of information, cooperation, and partnership between the working world and the university center
- Strengthen the academic community of Seinäjoki and South Ostrobothnia by bringing together people interested in university activities
Benefits of Alumni Activities:
- As an alumnus, you provide valuable information about the region’s work and business life, educational needs, and employment prospects. At the same time, you receive information about current research, new education activities and UCS events.
- Knowledge, research, and innovations spread to the region through committed alumni. Raising the educational level of South Ostrobothnia is our common goal.

- You will receive alumni emails and an education newsletter at least twice a year.
- You can participate in the alumni council’s activities. This way, you can plan the network’s activities and also come up with ideas for leisure events.
- You will receive invitations to joint alumni events organized by the university center.
- You can subscribe to the electronic UCS magazine and the Epanet newsletter.
- Joining as an alumnus is free of charge.
